Position: Pushback Operator – 230002T0
Job Objective
To execute all activities related to the pushback and towing of aircraft, operating various Pushback tractors, including both conventional and Tow-bar-less types.
Job Duties:
- Adheres to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is conducted in a controlled and consistent manner
- Manages day-to-day operations related to the assigned role
- Openly discusses safety concerns and promptly reports them to the appropriate supervisor
- Adheres to safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to maintain a healthy and safe work environment
- Operates a range of Pushback tractor types in alignment with task allocation for gate pushback and towing activities on the day of operations
- Performs gate pushback and towing activities safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures/work instructions provided by the day of operations supervisor
- Inspects all assigned Pushback tractors (PBTs) and Tow-bar-less tractors (TBLs), as well as aircraft nose wheels and tow bars, to ensure serviceability and promptly addresses any safety issues, incidents, or discrepancies.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:
- High School diploma (Minimum 10 years of schooling)
Skills:
- 2-4 years of experience in Ground Handling services with on-the-job training
- Valid UAE or GCC Driving license
- Valid ADP for operating equipment (TTR, Steps, Aircraft Towing, Pushback Tractor – Individual Tractors)
- Communication Skills
- Safety Awareness
