Duties and Responsibilities
Duties:
- Receive and accurately record guest laundry requests, ensuring all details are documented
- Examine apparels carefully for stains or damages, and review the labels to ensure it is laundered correctly, especially if there are blemishes or impairments that need special treatment
- Sort and separate laundry items by color, fabric type, and care requirements based on the company procedures to uphold quality benchmarks
- Operate laundry machines, loading and unloading them in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer protocols
- Monitor laundry cycles, making adjustments for optimal cleaning and drying based on the arrangement or weight distribution
- Remove garments promptly from appliance to prevent crinkles or damage, and ensure garments are clean and dry before advancing to the subsequent stage
- Fold, hang, and package clean laundry items for delivery or pick-up by following the procedures
- Deliver guest laundry orders accurately and promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area and storage rooms by following cleanliness guidelines
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly
- Assist in other laundry department tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service
- Operate laundry machines, adjusting settings for various fabrics and garments
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests related to laundry services professionally based on the protocols of the hotel
- Work closely with the laundry team to optimize workflow
- Adhere to hotel policies and safety protocols to avert workplace incidents or harm.

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Skillfully addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth manner
- Thriving in high-pressure situations and consistently meet the deadlines
- Excellence physical endurance, adept at standing, walking, and lifting heavy weights
- Flexibility to work shifts changing in schedule, including weekends, holidays and extra hours
- Desired proficiency in operating laundry machinery and tools, along with a readiness to grasp and comply with manufacturer instructions and safety procedures
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations and practices.
