Role Descriptions
As a security officer, your responsibility is paramount in ensuring the safety and welfare of individuals within the company’s facilities. Under the supervision, you will guide security personnel to safeguard private property against potential breaches and damage. Actively maintain a safe environment with conducting patrols and monitoring the facilities. It is crucial to interact with the people in a courteous and professional manner, demonstrating your dedication to providing excellent security service.
Your role also includes directing the work of the Duserve Facilities Management Security Department and operating in compliance with company compliance. In the absence of the supervisor, you will act as a first responder and coordinate security responses during emergencies. Emphasizing a humanist approach, you will handle these responsibilities with utmost care and professionalism, ensuring the safety and security of all individuals in your care.
Job Duties and Obligations
- Ensure the safety and protection of the people, workers, and property in assigned areas through vigilant patrols and proactive measures
- Conduct a thorough evaluation and accurately document any potential risks, occurrences, or unauthorized behaviors as directed by the supervisor
- Promptly respond to diverse emergency calls and provide initial guidance and assistance
- Managing personnel affairs, including conducting thorough orientation and training initiatives for security officers, while actively detecting and mitigating potential security and safety risks
- Maintaining respectful relationships with all customer and providing outstanding customer service
- Maintain excellent public relations by providing assistance to others and efficiently managing traffic and parking
- Remain vigilant and promptly respond to any suspected illegal activity on site
- Continuously monitor the surroundings to prevent criminal actions
- Collaborate with supervisors for routine updates to ensure the team stays informed about pertinent updates and security issues
- Effectively manage personnel scheduling and duties
- Conduct thorough checks of team to ensure they are adequately prepared with the correct attire and gear
- Manage daily activities of assigned shifts effectively
- Provide comprehensive training and clear guidance to team members.
Requirements
- Graduated from Diploma or Associate Degree in any discipline related to security or law enforcement with more than 2 years experience as team leader
- Have a valid certification of SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency), Firefighting and first aid certification given by a authorized training institute that issued in United Arab Emirates
- Have a valid driver’s license issued in the United Arab Emirates
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of Arabic and other languages is desirable.
